JOB DESCRIPTION

We currently have an opportunity for a highly organised Environmental Officer to join our Estate Management of Services (EOM) team and support the Land Management Manager, to deliver and meet the objectives within the Land Management and Pest & Vermin service lines for environmental deliverables and projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Contract for the delivery of Estate Management of Services (EMOS) to the Department of Defence QLD/SNSW region.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Scoping, quoting and successful delivery of Land Management contracted deliverables and environmental projects issued to the EMOS team from Defence.
  • Coordinate the Environmental Project Supervisors, provide planning, forecasting and oversee the overall service line deliverables and projects.
  • Deliver the land conservation and natural resource management services within your designated area.
  • Meet the objectives within the Land Management and Pest & Vermin service lines for environmental deliverables and projects.
  • Plan, organise, and prioritise your work to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

What you’ll bring

  • Qualified in a recognised course or apprenticeship with a preference for tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Land Management
  • Experience in environmental land management in a similar role.
  • Experience and qualifications in Fire Management in the Environmental Industry or field (Mandatory)
  • Demonstrated success in Land Management contracts (preferable)
  • Valid unrestricted Driver's License & First Aid Certificate.
  • Must be a Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
