About the role

As Marine Industries Engagement Officer within the Marine Resources Branch in Launceston, you will be responsible for providing engagement and communications program support to support Marine Resources’ initiatives.

  • Contribute to program design and provide administrative support to deliver State-wide wild fisheries and aquaculture engagement and communications activities.
  • Liaise and consult with Agency representatives and other government, industry and community organisations and stakeholders on internal and external communications and engagement related matters.
  • Prepare and coordinate communications material and articles for use on social media sites, websites, and in other promotional media.
  • Review and write procedures on engagement and communications activities and compile reports.

Location

Hobart or Launceston (to be negotiated).
