About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Environmental Scientist, this exciting position based within our Melbourne office will see you form part of a close knit, high performing environmental team. We are seeking a graduate to early-career Environmental Scientist to assist within the contamination land management field, including field work, data analyses and report writing.

We require someone who can multitask within tight time frames, work both autonomously and in a team environment, produce accurate reports using Microsoft products and ideally have experience with spatial analysis software (e.g. QGIS). Selection of suitable candidates will be based on potential rather than just experience and as such fresh university graduates with limited industry experience are encouraged to apply, as well as those with up to 1 year's experience. This is a casual position, transitioning to full time as the workload increases.

Skills & Experience

  • Up to 1 year's relevant work experience
  • Degree qualified in environmental science / management (or equivalent)
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work within a team environment and autonomously
  • Willing and able to work with flexibility according to operational requirements
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Right to work in Australia on a permanent basis
  • Valid Australian drivers licence
