What you’ll do:
- Lead the ‘Centre of Excellence’ in high-quality financial analysis across all areas of budgeting and forecasting, corporate financial modelling and performance analysis.
- Oversee and manage the preparation, updates and improvements to the WaterNSW Corporate Model for monthly reporting, forecasting and budget cycles, credit rating analysis, fair value calculations, sensitivity analysis and any ad hoc analysis as required.
- Proactively lead and deliver the annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes including Board reporting, Exec reporting, Shareholder reporting, timetable management, financial analysis and reporting
- Contribute to the Finance System strategy by overseeing continuous improvement, automation and development of Finance Systems and ensuring governance and controls are adhered to.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant degree qualification (e.g. Accounting, Finance) or experience deemed equivalent
- Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CPA) is a must
- Expert knowledge of financial/commercial analysis, modelling and reporting.
- Well-developed business writing skills.
- Previous experience with corporate financial modelling and shareholder/investor reporting would be well regarded
- Current drivers Licence
