An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced, motivated and highly organised Senior Water Modeller to join the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ Water Resources Division.

The Senior Water Modeller will undertake development, maintenance and operation of surface and groundwater models on some of the largest karstic aquifers in Australia, to provide specialist hydrological information and advice to ensure development across the Northern Territory.

The Senior Water Modeller will contribute to the assessment of groundwater systems and connected surface-groundwater systems. The Senior Water Modeller will provide information in support of statutory requirements for the management and regulation of water use activities, in order to meet objectives for sustainability of ecosystems. The Senior Water Modeller will be an expert in their field and will apply industry standards and best practice methods, including operational procedures for reporting and record keeping.
