You will have the opportunity to lead a passionate team in managing all aspects of this world heritage park which is the largest national park in Australia and covers almost 20,000 square kilometres. It is a place of enormous ecological and biological diversity, and is renowned around the world as a visually spectacular tourist and visitor attraction.

The Park Manager role would have to be regarded as one of the most significant park management opportunities in Australia, and will enable you to manage this global treasure in partnership with the oldest living culture on earth. Protecting its importance to the Aboriginal traditional owners and conserving its World Heritage values are just some of the significant rewards which come with this position.

Your effective leadership and mentoring expertise will also continue to build and maintain a productive team. You will have the unique opportunity to build relationships with both the tourism industry and scientific community to help manage the park, as well as implementing Kakadu’s management plan. You will be supported by a highly experienced executive and board.
