What you’ll do:
- Support the development of content across a variety of topics and channels, from feature stories to campaigns, corporate reporting and content/assets associated with sponsorships and events, working closely across Corporate Affairs.
- Support the team to develop and enhance brand identity and suite of assets; and develop and maintain improved brand standards, policies and procedures on the use of the WaterNSW brand. Ensure consistency in all organisational publications and external communications.
- Guide and coordinate business participation in events, awards, speakerships and sponsorship opportunities that support business and/or brand objectives; support efforts to externally promote the expertise and credentials of our people; and support the development of meaningful programs with charitable and/or similar partners.
- Advise business units on communication content. Assistance will extend to the preparation of key messages, speaking notes and presentations.
- Bring communications knowledge to your work to drive uplift in brand and reputation.
- Liaise with suppliers and deliver administrative components of supplier work.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field or experience deemed equivalent.
- Experience in sponsorships, events, corporate communication and/or brand management
- Knowledge of corporate communication campaigns, plans and channels.
- Ability to develop content and execute a brief.
- Ability to liaise, advise and consult with business partners and external agencies.
- Project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Experience in corporate communication and/or brand management.
- Well developed writing skills with experience in key message development.
