About the role
We currently have the opportunity for a motivated individual to take on the role of Climate Change Advisor. In this exciting role, the successful candidate will be responsible for our multifaceted approach to addressing climate change which involves implementing and regularly reviewing crucial frameworks such as the Net Zero Plan, Climate Change Strategy, Emissions Reduction Plan, and Climate Adaptation Plan.
We also maintain a vigilant commitment to monitoring and reporting on our carbon emissions, climate strategy, and associated action plans, ensuring transparency and progress tracking. In addition, we actively support project delivery by proactively integrating emissions management and climate adaptation requirements at an early stage. Our dedication extends to identifying opportunities to enhance energy efficiency, bolster environmental monitoring practices, and achieve a reduction in carbon emissions throughout our corporation's activities.
We take a comprehensive stance on risk management by coordinating climate change vulnerability and risk assessments, providing valuable input into project planning to ensure that climate risks and controls are meticulously considered across the asset's entire life cycle. Our commitment to sustainability is collaborative, and we stand ready to offer support as needed to the broader Sustainability and Infrastructure team, collectively striving for a more sustainable and resilient future.

This position has been classified as per our Enterprise Agreement as Band 4 position, with Total Remuneration Package from $101,046 to $126,929 per annum (inclusive of11% employer superannuation contribution). We reserve the right to remunerate people according to their ability to perform the functions of the role based on their qualifications, skills and experience.
