The opportunity
The primary objective of the position is to work with the team to improve network asset management and optimise operations.

Key duties of this role include:

  • Optimise 24/7 performance and efficiency of water network.
  • Optimise 24/7 performance and efficiency of sewer network.
  • Support development and implementation of requirements with strategic asset management plans
  • Foster a ‘safety first’ culture that supports CHW’s aspiration of ‘zero harm’.
  • Work with maintenance teams to improve maintenance strategy and delivery methods to increase efficiency and effectiveness of CHW’s planned and reactive maintenance services.

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive operational experience in the water (or similar service) industry. 
  • Demonstrated experience in creating/operating within multidiscipline operational processes. 
  • Demonstrated experience in asset management and/or operational teams. 
  • Proven experience in managing teams using values-based leadership with a focus on integrity, demonstrated experience coaching and developing high performing teams. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing safety in high-risk activities and developing safety culture and systems and processes.
