Design Engineer

Established in 2001, Guidera O’Connor is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor and have a successful track record delivering water and waste water treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water. 

We are recruiting for a Civil/Structural Design Engineer experienced in Water & Wastewater infrastructure projects. 

This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Head Office in Thebarton, SA.

Our Design Engineers are responsible for carrying out end to end process design activities for a range of specialised complex water projects, ensuring that all design, drafting, and close-out documentation is completed accurately, cost effectively and in a timely manner to meet project requirements.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have 4+ years of Design experience on Water and Wastewater projects.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Be organised, decisive, proactive, and determined in setting and achieving targets.
• Be able to build strong and collaborative relationships within the business, clients, and industry.
