GIS Officer - [Archived Advertisement]

The North Central Catchment Management Authority creates natural resource management partnerships and programs that deliver lasting change. We are currently seeking an engaging and knowledgeable person to join our corporate team.  

The GIS Officer will service day-to-day GIS requests and provide cartographic and specialist GIS support and effectively use processes and systems that enable the accurate capture of data, storage, and reporting of regional on-ground works. The successful candidate will have:

• Proficiency in ArcGIS software across desktop, mobile and web platforms.
• Demonstrated capability in creating, processing, updating and maintaining GIS data in enterprise geodatabases.
• Experience with interpretation and application of spatial data standards and specifications for compilation of prescribed spatial datasets.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
