Singapore and Australia are expected to sign a new “green economy agreement” next month.

Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will fly to Australia for annual leaders' talks in Sydney and Canberra, which will be the first face-to-face meeting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese since his Australian election win.

The two PMs are expected to sign a new “green economy agreement” to streamline climate-friendly financing and technology development at the meetings.

The deal is intended to facilitate future renewable energy and hydrogen deals between Australian and Singaporean companies.
