Coordinator Presentation and Recreation

Full Time - 76 hours/fortnight.

Based in Corowa, but will work across the Federation Council area

Applications are invited for an experienced, motivated and suitably qualified individual for the position of Coordinator Presentation & Recreation.

The Coordinator Presentation & Recreation is responsible for the day to day operations, administration and supervision of the Council Presentation Team. The Presentation Team are responsible for Council’s horticultural and arboricultural assets in the area of: Sporting & Play Grounds, Presentation and Street Beautification.  The team carries out maintenance activities in Council’s open spaces, parks and gardens, skate parks, roundabouts, roadsides in urban areas, reserves, the general urban environment and cemeteries.

The successful applicants will hold a Certificate IV or higher qualification in Horticulture or relevant discipline with experience in the field, a General Construction Induction card, current Chemical User qualification, chainsaw ticket, current Working with Children Check, and a current and valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver’s licence.

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government State Award and Council’s policies and conditions of employment.  The salary will be within the range of $1,492.20 to $1,730.50 per week, depending on qualifications, experience and skills.  This is a Grade 24-26 in Federation Council’s Salary System.
