Reporting to the Director City Planning you will be responsible for managing the Environment & Regulatory Services Branch taking appropriate action for breaches of legislation in regards to environmental issues.  The Environment & Regulatory Development Services Branch Manager will be adept at managing a diverse professional team as well as undertaking specific projects and reporting on the budget process to meet the Council’s strategic objectives.

To succeed in the role, the successful applicant must have a degree or post graduate degree qualifications in Environmental Health, Town Planning, Engineering or related discipline, a Class C Licence and significant post-graduate experience in Environment and Regulatory services particularly in Local Government.  In addition you must have experience management level within an organisation as well as experience at a senior management level of an organisation and a high level of interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
