Project Director - MacIntyre Windfarm

About the role

The Project Director for CleanCo on the MacIntyre Wind Farm project, consisting of 18 turbines generating 102 Mega Watts of renewable energy, will represent CleanCo in delivering an outcome that is aligned with CleanCo’s strategy, contractual agreements and value expectations.

During early engagement, you will drive the development of a well-informed scope of works and both the development and execution of win/win commercial agreements with the contractor (ACCIONA).

Seeing the project through to completion, you will lead project commercials and contract obligations and make certain that value is achieved, and benefits/opportunities realised.

Understanding the importance of the effective management of community, environmental & social impacts, you will develop and manage key relationships with stakeholders, regulators and community groups.

To ensure ongoing quality assurance, you will provide effective oversight to the contractor, while keeping the executive leadership team informed.

About you

You are a Project Leader with a passion for delivering large, complex infrastructure that offers real value (ideally experienced in energy generation asset projects).

You take a win/win approach to commercial agreement development and offer strengths in formulating, negotiating and managing complex contracts, including their performance metrics.

Through delivery, you remain focused on benefits and opportunity realisation while ensuring the project remains aligned with the owner organisation’s strategy.

You are a natural collaborator and pride yourself on bringing people together to make informed decisions, share ideas and remove roadblocks to success. You offer a natural ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders as well as community groups.

You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself that contributes to the delivery of renewable, reliable and affordable energy for Queensland.
