Based at Warragamba Dam we are looking for an energetic Education and Visitor Services Manager to join our Customer and Community Team for a period of 12 months.

As the Education and Visitor Services Manager you will manage visitor education and services at Warragamba Dam Visitor Centre for WaterNSW ensuring a friendly and positive experience for visitors. Coordination of interpretive resources, exhibition materials and team members is required to meet or exceed visitor expectations.  You will also be responsible for ensuring the targeted school and community education programs are based on best practice principles for behaviour change and are positioned to meet WaterNSW business needs.  We are looking for someone with extensive experience in, and expert knowledge of, a broad range of environmental education products, services and programs. 

If you have a strong background in the development, delivery and evaluation of education programs and can demonstrate the below requirements, we would like to hear from you.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in Education or Environmental Science/Management or Social Sciences or appropriate or equivalent experience.
• Proven achievement in the leadership of education programs to achieve corporate outcomes through targeted, integrated, partnership approaches.
• Excellent communication skills with the strong ability to influence and negotiate
• Current NSW driver’s licence
