About us
Water Branch exists to efficiently manage water in NSW with the objective to create a contemporary government water agency focused on planning and policy, regulation, information and insights, and programs and performance.
The Sustainable Diversion Limit Adjustment Mechanism (SDLAM) Program Team delivers 23 infrastructure, rule-based and constraints management programs and projects to support sustainable water management for the Murray-Darling Basin. The water management projects focus on water saving, water supply offsets and improved flow management works across the southern connected Murray Darling Basin.
About the role
We are seeking a Principal Project Officer who will be responsible for coordinating and procuring resources, managing budgets and liaising with regional community stakeholders and our NSW and Commonwealth government partners to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met within required timeframes. You key focus in this role will be SDLAM projects occurring in the Darling River system.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role as you will be instrumental in coordinating and engaging with community stakeholders to develop works and measures that promote sustainable water management and environmental outcomes.
