Blue Mountains City Council operates two Resource Recovery and Waste Management Facilities (RR&WMF) with Katoomba incorporating a Transfer Station and Blaxland incorporating a Landfill and Collection Services.

  • These sites are operated with the clear objective to maximize resource recovery and to deliver environmentally sustainable, quality outcomes.
  • The position is required to ensure that the site meets legislative compliance and that site operations are undertaken in a manner to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of environmental performance, resource recovery, cost control, income generation and client satisfaction.

We are seeking an enthusiastic leader who has extensive relevant experience in landfill management, waste operations, resource recovery, logistics or similar and has a commitment to waste avoidance and resource recovery.

Salary:  commencing at $4016.14 gross per fortnight.
