The Opportunity

This brand new role will lead the creation, implementation and adoption of processes that enable knowledge capture, real-time collaboration, problem solving, and organisational learning across the business to support operational efficiency and quality decision making. You will also manage the utilisation and continuous improvement of our electronic information management system and IMS controlled documentation framework. This role can be located in Launceston, Devonport or Hobart.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the change process to leverage and transform information and data into valuable organisational knowledge.
  • Develop and implement strategies, policies, and system improvements to promote greater collaboration, information sharing and access to information.
  • Empower and encourage staff to use our electronic information management system and IMS controlled documentation framework to maximise knowledge capture across the business.
  • Lead, coach, advise and supervise employees by fostering a positive and safe working environment that promotes a high performing and positive team culture and that ensures employees uphold the vision, values and behaviours of TasWater.

Your Application

Your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the selection criteria in the Position Description, summarised as follows:

  • Degree qualification in Information Management Systems, or equivalent competence.
  • Proven track record of leveraging and transforming information into organisational knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of information management system requirements, in particular HPE.
  • High level ability to influence and empower people across the business.
  • Experience managing a small team.
