Environmental Consultant (Ecologist)

What are we looking for?

With a growing pipeline of diverse project work we have a new opportunity for an Ecologist to join our environmental division in Sydney.

Your role will include:

• Field based data collection, surveys and mapping including threatened species and regional ecosystems;
• Contributing to ecology bids and proposals;
• Data analysis and technical report writing;
• Collaborating with the wider team and contributing to ecology projects in other states; and
• Proactively managing components of projects, taking responsibility for resource allocation, managing subcontractors, quality assurance and client feedback. 

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You are a degree qualified ecologist, have been described as a self-starter and you will come to us with:

• Experience or a keen interest in developing experience in fauna technical skills on projects
• A collaborative nature and demonstrated communication skills 
• The drive and interest to learn how to manage projects and lead teams
• The ability to work autonomously and use initiative to solve problems
