Agency overview
The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is the state’s primary environmental regulator. We work with business, government and the community to manage and reduce pollution and waste. The EPA is a separate agency within the Planning and Environment cluster. We respond to pollution incidents and emergencies and enforce environmental regulations, monitor compliance and investigate reports of pollution.
Primary purpose of the role:
Undertake day to day tasks relating to the application of EPA legislative responsibilities in diverse regulatory area/s, and perform other regulatory activities, as determined by EPA operational priorities.

Q1. Provide an example where you have had to investigate an environmental management issue. Please explain what the issue was, what you did to investigate the problem, and how did you communicated the outcome to difference audiences?
Q2. Provide an example where you have worked in a team that needed to respond to a variety of issues. Describe the processes you used to contribute to meeting team timeframes and to respond to competing demands. How did you communicate with your team members to ensure priority work was delivered?
