This is an exciting and unique opportunity to provide leadership and vision in the strategic direction of South East Water's Research and Development program, whilst also combining your research skills with creative thinking to deliver innovation solutions.

Reporting to the General Manager, Asset Creation, this key role will have primary responsibility for South East Water's Research and Development program.  The role exists to encourage, monitor and co-ordinate South East Water's efforts and prioritise investment into the development of these innovations.  The role will co-ordinate and report on the innovation pipeline from ideas to prototyping for South East Water's needs while also managing the prioritisation and monitoring of the development investment.

The successful applicantis expected to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders whilst possessing the following skills and attributes:

• Extensive experience in Research and Development program management and delivery within a multidisciplinary organisation, preferably in utilities
• Excellent influencing skills with an ability to drive change
• Proven ability of managing internal and external stakeholders for successful delivery of Research and Development projects
• Ability to analyse and assess research proposals and outcomes
• Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills and a flexible and creative approach to solving complex problems
