Collaboration Support Officer

WaterNSW is a State-Owned Corporation established under the Water NSW Act 2014 (NSW). We operate the State’s rivers and water supply systems and are responsible for building, maintaining and operating a diverse network of essential infrastructure (including over 40 dams across the State) and the largest surface and groundwater monitoring network in the southern hemisphere.

About the role:

WaterNSW is currently seeking a dynamic and tech savvy Collaboration Support Officer to join our high performing team based in Sydney. This position is to provide efficient and effective collaboration and document management services. This includes Office 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Delve and Yammer), record management and administration of physical hardcopy records and digital records completing  activities such as archiving, file creation, information and document classification, enabling of collaboration on documents, distribution and filing; and put safety first.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a quality customer service is exercised in the timely delivery of all collaboration and records management services including archiving, sentencing, file classification, document destruction and where required assistance to training of staff to increase adoption of services and enable compliance with legislative requirements.
  • The active assistance with the records disposal, transfer of records to and off-site storage and the coordination of day to day business processes with the Government Records Repository and other Government approved record storage facilities ensuring all activities are done efficiently, accurately and safely.
  • Ensure timely and efficient information, direction and assistance is provided to staff in their use of the approved records management / EDRMS systems and processes, integrated O365 and record management products and the available collaboration services.

Skills and Qualification required:

  • Certificate in Administration/Technology/Customer service or similar
  • Knowledge of legislation and standards relating to information and records management
  • Knowledge of Office 365 services
  • Experience in records management practice and procedures
  • Computer literacy and experience with Collaboration software
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
