As part of the Northern Territory Government’s response to the Inquiry recommendations, the Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) will now be responsible for reviewing petroleum Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and providing advice to the Environment Minister.

We are seeking a passionate and committed professional to support the NT EPA in its role by leading the review of environmental regulatory requirements and preparation of advice to the NT EPA on environmental management of onshore gas exploration and production. The role will also be required to contribute to the preparation of technical and regulatory guidance material to support the Department’s implementation of the recommendations of the Scientific Inquiry into Hydraulic Fracturing in the Northern Territory.
