An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced, motivated and highly organised Water Planner to join the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ Water Planning and Engagement Team.
The Water Planner will prepare, promote and review regional water allocation plans and strategies in conjunction with government agencies, industry and communities to achieve sustainable water resources use across the Northern Territory.
We are looking for someone who has significant demonstrated experience of working with communities and government to negotiate and prepare natural resource management plans. They will have high level communication skills, experience in solving complex natural resource management problems and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver logical and coherent water resource allocation and management outcomes.
This vacancy may be available in either Katherine or Palmerston subject to negotiation with the successful applicant.
