Kakadu is the largest World Heritage Park in Australia and covers almost 20,000 square kilometres.  It is a place of enormous ecological and biological diversity, and is renowned around the world as a visually spectacular tourist and visitor attraction.

This unique National Park Operations and Protected Area Management role would have to be regarded as one of the most rewarding in Australia. The role reports into the Kakadu National Park Manager, and will see you working with a passionate team to jointly manage a global treasure with the oldest living culture on earth. 

This incredible opportunity will see you provide leadership and strategic direction to operational and project teams in the park, while consulting with Traditional Owners, Indigenous Organisations and other key stakeholders to develop and deliver environmental and visitor management programs.

On a daily basis you will also ensure the park continues to be protected and managed to the standards required of this jointly managed World Heritage Park.
