Strategic Asset Planner

$120, 240 per year plus 15% superannuation

As the Strategic Asset Planner, you will work in a collaborative and challenging environment to create a future strategy for our sewer assets and support the future development of Canberra.

About your role

• You will lead the development of asset strategies, to prepare for a range of future scenarios and present strategies to our Executives.
• Provide asset and strategic growth planning advice and recommendations to our trusted partners.
• Collaborating with others, you will develop growth service plans for future urban and regional growth.
• Investigate and provide advice to Icon Water on long term technological innovations.
• As the expert, you will be the project sponsor for sewer system projects across the business.

To be successful, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science or similar).
• Experience in asset strategy development, asset management system operation and asset lifecycle management.
• Validated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ease in building and maintaining positive relationships.
• Demonstrate an openness to new ideas and trying new things, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• A knowledge of ISO 5500X requirements and regulatory and legislative requirements in a utility.
• Experience in presenting strategies and ideas that are tailored to different audiences.
