Responsibilities include:

• Keep up-to-date and continuously review environmental obligations.
• Prepare and present regulatory reports to management, including environmental assessments, evaluations and reviews.
• Support the compliance team on the review of soil source sites which may supply fill material to projects
• Develop and review the company Environmental Management System, including quarterly audits and internal reviews.
• Conduct background research into the origin of soil materials from customer sites and prepare reports to support these findings
• Provide technical support and advice
• Coordinate the implementation of corrective actions identified during audits, inspections and incidents
• Coordinate the collection, analysis and recording of sampling data

In essence, if you have worked in a similar role across the earthworks / civil infrastructure sector to a high level then these responsibilities should be second nature. As well as working in a similar role, my client is keen to look at candidates with the following:

• 3+ years minimum environmental experience with a highly respected company, here in Australia.
• Minimum Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience across the Environmental professions.
• The ability to influence and converse freely with workers on site, managers in the business & board level directors.
• Ambition, drive & the hunger to progress and better yourself.
