Wyndham City is looking for an energetic, collaborative and results-focused leader to provide strategic direction, seek continuous improvement and coordinate the dynamic team within the Environment and Sustainability Department.

Reporting to the Manager Environment and Sustainability, you will be responsible for leading and developing Wyndham’s natural environment and sustainability functions to ensure that Council is building engagement with the community and internal customers and that key programs and projects are developed and implemented as per community and corporate expectations.

To be successful in this role you will possess a tertiary qualification in Environmental Planning, Sustainability, Environmental Science or Environmental Management or related field. You will also have substantial relevant experience in the effective implementation of environmental policies, strategies and programs as well as leading and developing teams.

Your extensive practical experience in a comparable role, coupled with your innovative approach will be key attributes in this adapting and diverse environment.
