The Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Lincoln University invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Crop Science and Agronomy. 

This position is located within the Department of Agricultural Sciences and is responsible for teaching and research in the plant and animal sciences, and in crop and livestock production. We are seeking applicants with expertise in the areas of crop science and agronomy and physiology. You will also be expected to forge links with the New Zealand crop and pastoral industries.

In order to apply for this position, you will need:

  • a PhD in an appropriate discipline;
  • the enthusiasm to lecture at undergraduate and postgraduate degree level;
  • the ability to supervise postgraduate students;
  • experience in undertaking and publishing high quality research;
  • an inquiring mind;
  • a passion for working with, and educating young people.
