Senior Research Fellow or Research Fellow (Irrigation Systems)

Hours of Duty: Full-time (36.75 hours per week) and fixed term for five years
Salary Range: $85,568 - $120,351 pa (plus 17% super) (Level C or B, Research Only)
Location of Work: Irrigation Research Station, Griffith, NSW

The Senior Research Fellow or Research Fellow is expected to contribute to the research output of the Centre for Regional and Rural Futures (CeRRF) and to support the leader of the Griffith Irrigation Research Group in seeking external funding to support the activity of the group.

The Senior Research Fellow or Research Fellow is expected to contribute towards the research effort of the University and conduct research independently and / or team research within the field of irrigation systems science. It is important that the Senior Research Fellow or Research Fellow will contribute to the profile and research repu tation of CeRRF, by means including public lectures, seminars, contributing to public debate and policy formation on key research issues.

You will have a relevant doctoral qualification in Irrigation systems science/Agricultural water management or a related research field (e.g. Irrigated agronomy, soil and water engineering, irrigation engineering, agriculture engineering, agricultural science, environmental science); or an equivalent qualification. You will also have post-doctoral research experience, which has resulted in publications, conference papers, reports, or professional or technical contributions, which give evidence of research ability.
