Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management (OHS)

The National School of Business is located within the Faculty of Law and Business.The School is based across four campuses located in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and operates as a national entity with consistent delivery of units across the campuses.

As a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor, you will contribute to excellence in teaching and learning in the area of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental management (OHSE).

Reporting to the National Head of School, you will:

  • teach undergraduate and postgraduate units via online delivery
  • supervise research students
  • contribute to course coordination and leadership in OHSE
  • undertake the role of Discipline Chair of OHSE, where appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • a doctoral qualification in OHSE or relevant discipline
  • commitment to the mission and Catholic ethos of the institution
  • significant learning and teaching profile in higher education, including experience in online delivery
  • significant academic research profile and strong relevant publication record.

Total remuneration valued to $130,787 - $141,989 pa, including salary component $110,624 -$120,198 pa (Academic Classification Level C) or $148,214 - $163,146 pa, including salary component $125,519 - $138,281 pa (Academic Classification Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.The level of appointment will be dependent on the skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
