What you need to know...

  • temporary full-time - 70 hours per fortnight
  • salary - $76,405 - $91,114 per annum, plus superannuation
  • location - Grafton or Maclean (to be negotiated)

About the role

We are looking for two professional, enthusiastic and highly motivated project managers to join the Water Cycle team at Clarence Valley Council, specialising in the delivery of water and sewer capital works projects.  The positions are 12 month fixed term appointments and report directly to the Manager of Water Cycle.  

The projects to be delivered are varied and range across areas of water, sewer and floodplain infrastructure.  Projects such as reservoir construction, bulk water pipelines, sewerage biosolids storage lagoons and floodplain projects in line with Council’s capital works plan and budgets. 

We are looking for Project Managers that can plan, procure and deliver capital works projects along with the required tender preparation and contractual documentation such as MW21 and GC21.  You would be responsible for the delivery of specific projects ensuring that WHS, Environmental and contract conditions are being adhered to and would require knowledge of industry best practices.

These positions are located at Council's Rushforth Road Depot and Maclean office, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
