Environmental Analyst 

 

Join a dynamic team responsible for managing the environmental impacts of an extremely diverse department. The Department of Justice and Regulation manages everything from prison operations to construction projects, dairy farms to land care projects - all of which contribute environmental impacts.

The Environmental Analyst will provide specialist skills, allowing them to effectively monitor and report the department's environmental performance data and implement projects that reduce the department's environmental impact.

In this role, you will:

  • manage and educate staff on the department’s environmental data management system, capable of analysing and reporting relevant environmental performance information, compliant with government requirements
  • report on the department’s environmental projects and performance data to stakeholders including senior management
  • assist in the development and implementation of the department’s Environmental Management System.

The successful candidate will have an aptitude for problem solving within an environmental context, analytical skills and experience in managing multiple projects.

This is a fixed term, full time appointment for 13 months.
