We are currently seeking a motivated Spatial Ecological Modeller to join our newly-created CSIRO Environment business unit, in an ongoing role!
In this role, you will become an integral part of our diverse team of talented researchers and modellers within the ‘Managing Water Ecosystems’ Group, that focuses on investigating how water ecosystems respond to flow regimes including different water resource management strategies. While your role will have a primary focus on the Murray-Darling Basin, you will also have opportunities to be involved in a variety of other major research initiatives across Australia. You will bring your valuable ecological and spatial modelling experience to design, develop and expand research initiatives, and strategically enhance the scientific understanding of different ecosystems and their response to management. Managing successful interactions with external clients and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships would also be a key component of your role.

Salary: AU$105K – AU$114K pa + up to 15.4% superannuation
