Project Administrator / Coordinator - CSIRO Water Security Program
CSIRO acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land, sea and waters, of the area that we live and work on across Australia. We acknowledge their continuing connection to their culture and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. View our vision towards reconciliation
CSIRO’s Environment Business Unit brings together our capabilities in marine, atmospheric, water and terrestrial environment disciplines, as well as significant social and economic research, to align and support the nation in creating a better and more sustainable future. The Water Security Program requires a Research Projects Coordinator to support the project leader in development and management of water and environmental research projects. In this role, you will provide project coordination, administration, and project delivery support. You will maintain research partnerships for existing projects, monitor project progress, coordinate large internal and external workshops and events, contribute to research outcomes and communicate within the project team and with the client as per the instructions from the project leader.
You will support existing science and leadership capability to deliver high-impact external projects such as the Northern Rivers Resilience Initiative (NRRI) Project funded by the National Emergency Management Agency and Sustainable Yields II funded by the Australian Federal Government. You may be required to contribute to the wider inter-disciplinary efforts in water science, policy, and management.
