Environment Lead, Indigenous Science (Identified Role - Indigenous)

The Environment Lead, Indigenous Science will play a key role in strengthening CSIRO’s Indigenous science and partnerships in priority areas relating to the business of CSIRO Environment and provide essential Indigenous cultural capability and strategic leadership to shape and deliver CSIRO Environment’s research agenda.
In this role, you will enhance CSIRO Environment’s capacity for Indigenous-led, co-designed and Indigenous science and will be responsible for identifying, brokering and developing strategic science and knowledge partnerships to create two-way knowledge-sharing and collaborative relationships with Indigenous Australia.
You will be able to recognise and pursue opportunities for innovation and generate new ways of seeing and solving complex problems and support CSIRO Environment to secure project funds.
Location: Townsville (Preferred), Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart or Melbourne
Salary: Competitive Market Salary plus up to 15.4% superannuation
