The Opportunity
Are you a qualified analytical chemist with experience in environmental media? We are seeking a motivated Environmental Analytical Chemist to join the Industry Environments Research Program in CSIRO’s Land and Water Business Unit!
Our Industry Environments Program focuses on enhancing responsible industrial development within resilient environments, through environmental assessment technologies, water quality management, and securing, recovering & re-purposing waste. We are a truly diverse team that strives to achieve strategic scientific achievements, and believes in recruiting world-class talent that represents the diversity across our society.
In this role, you will drive success in the Environmental Assessment and Technologies Group, within the research program, by delivering integrated science on contaminants of concern in Australian environments to enable sustainable developments and stewardship of land, water, ecosystems, and communities. You will collaborate with a range of internal & external stakeholders and provide trusted advice to government agencies, industries, and community on environmental risks of organic contaminants in the Australian environment.

Salary: AU$102K – AU$111K pa + up to 15.4% superannuation

Eligibility
