Research Technician (Entomology)
Exciting opportunity for a research technician to join and contribute to the Program Managing Invasive Species and Diseases of the Health and Biosecurity Business Unit of CSIRO. This multi-disciplinary program undertakes research to help prevent, contain or manage national priority pests, weeds and diseases of agriculture and the environment. This position will also play an integral role in CSIROs newly formed Trusted Agrifood Exports Mission which aims to boost global export earnings of Australian grown food through tools and technologies that verify our quality, safety and clean and green credentials. Research will help overcome the market access barriers that pests and diseases pose to trade.
Location: Brisbane (Dutton park). QLD
Salary: AU$63,594 to AU$80.937 pa up to 15.4% Superannuation
