Quantitative Sustainability Scientist
The role of Quantitative Sustainability Scientist is an exciting opportunity to boost the development and application of agriculture sustainability assessment frameworks within CSIRO’s Climate Smart Agriculture research group.
The successful candidate will focus on life-cycle assessment and natural capital accounting, and contribute to the development of tools and metrics to support industry in benchmarking and monitoring of sustainability performance. The role will be embedded in a well-connected group of experts in fields ranging from soil science and agriculture simulation models to change management and nutrition, offering many opportunities to develop new expertise.
Location: Black Mountain, Canberra, ACT (preferred) or St Lucia, Brisbane, QLD (considered)
Salary: AU$98k - AU$106k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Specified term of 3 years
