The Position
CSIRO and the Centre for Australian National Biodiversity Research (CANBR) is seeking a highly motivated researcher to work with Aboriginal communities primarily in the central desert region to co-develop pathways for linking western species concepts and Indigenous botanical knowledge.
You as the successful candidate will work with Aboriginal communities to co-develop protocols aligned with community aspirations and expectations for the security and management of their botanical knowledge within a trusted environment. You will co-develop practical and technical solutions to help us better understand, manage and conserve Australia’s biota.

Your duties/responsibilities will include:
Location: Canberra ACT
Salary: AU$80K - AU$91K plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Specified term for 3 years

Owing to the terms of the fellowship, candidates must not have more than 3 years of relevant full time postdoctoral experience.
