We have multiple opportunities available for Research Scientists who are interested to join our multi-disciplinary research team that specialises within Natural Hazards. We are offering a mix of indefinite and 3-year term positions with locations available across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra or remote where requirements can be met.
CSIRO’s Data61 is at the forefront of digital science and innovation, leading both in developing new research as well as working across disciplines and sectors to apply technologies and drive impact.
As Australia continues to experience natural disasters, and with a growing future prediction, Data61 are expanding our team to engage in scientific research to play a pivotal role in protecting our environment. We offer a wide range of research that focuses on technological advancements in geospatial modelling and analytics, application of quantitative methods to biosecurity and ecological and physics based computational models for natural disasters.
