Botanist

Location: Cairns or Townsville, Queensland

As part of our ongoing development, NRA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Botanist to join our team in our Cairns or Townsville office. Applicants should have appropriate tertiary qualifications and no less than 3 years’ relevant experience (botanical field surveys and reporting). Consultancy experience is desired, and experience or an interest in mine rehabilitation would be highly regarded.

Candidates should possess the intellectual skills, technical proficiency and wisdom necessary to make a positive contribution to the NRA team. Candidates will need to demonstrate experience in botanical field surveys, applied studies, problem solving, and excellent technical report writing and communication skills necessary for working as part of a professional team.

Individuals seeking employment at NRA will need to be self-motivated, have a keen interest in the application of their knowledge to environmental issues associated with the sectors in which NRA works, and be dedicated to assisting our clients to fulfil their obligations.
