About the Role:

This is a genuine opportunity for the right person to make their mark. Reporting to the Director of Environment and Planning, you will be responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team and the operations of the department, to meet the Delivery Program. Implementing an integrated water, sewer, and waste strategy which ensures that its services and functions meet community demands, while also contributing to the strategic direction of Council.

About you:
As a senior leader, you have substantial contemporary experience and knowledge of leading and managing water, sewer, and waste departments/functions. You are a strategic thinker with a customercentric approach, who actively seeks out opportunities for the organisation. You hold a relevant professional qualification in Civil Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, and have a track record of ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

You enjoy developing a team to deliver excellence, achieving targets and objectives through continuous process improvement. Your ability to engage and influence a variety of stakeholders to achieve fit-for-purpose outcomes is demonstrated in your successes. You have a strong commitment to role modelling the Council values of Sustainability, Integrity, Respect, and Professionalism.

This position is based in Crookwell and offers an attractive salary range from $115,000 - $130,000 including 10% superannuation. The position is Grade 19 in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government (State) Award.
