Are you up for a challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated person to take on the temporary part-time role of Sustainable Homes Coordinator within the Environment and Community Outcomes team. The role is currently funded till June 30, 2017, so you will really have to hit the ground running to deliver the program goals.
The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing the highly regarded Sustainable Homes and Communities Program across the Cities of Darebin and Banyule, including coordinating the delivery of seminars, hands on events, leadership program, sustainability education resources and evaluation.

The leadership program delivered between February and June 2017 requires the role to facilitate workshops on 8 Tuesday evenings in Banyule. The duties will also involve some weekend work.

The successful applicant will be highly self-motivated and possess:
• knowledge of and commitment to environmental sustainability and behaviour change methodologies
• excellent project, event management and facilitation skills
• understanding of relevant cross-cultural issues and experience in working with diverse communities
• excellent written and verbal communications skills including the capacity to foster collaborative relationships.
