The position of Conservation & Land Management Trainee will offer a Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management whilst gaining experience through day-to-day activities in Council's Parks & Environment Program over 12 months. Duties shall include but not limited to:
- Commitment to undertake all training requirements and successfully complete a Certificate II Conservation and Land Management
- Assist in natural environment preservation practices including dune restoration, revegetation and land management practices
- Gain knowledge in the upkeep of plant and machinery used in the undertaking of the duties associated with the studies of the traineeship
- Gain knowledge and experience in how to complete documentation and related record keeping within modules associated with undertaking the traineeship
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Current QLD ‘C’ Class drivers licence would be an advantage
- Successful completion of Year 10
- General Construction Safety White/Blue card would be an advantage
- Basic literacy, numeracy, verbal and written communication skills

Trainee pay rates apply – up to $555 p/w*
