Continued growth in the New Zealand water resources area has created vacancies in our Wellington Water Resources Group, which is a specialist group providing hydraulic engineering and hydrological services to local government, energy companies, KiwiRail, NZTA and other private clients.  This is an opportunity for a talented person with significant professional experience (gained over a period of at least 5 years, but more likely to be around 10 years), at least some of which would be in consulting engineering in the relevant field to join us.  Engineers would ideally be CPEng qualified.

The successful candidate will be well known and respected within their professional community, have well-developed commercial and communication skills, be highly motivated, and able to develop and maintain good staff and client relationships.   The position will suit those with a high level of experience in one or more of the following areas: hydraulic modelling of rivers and/or for urban drainage (wastewater and stormwater), river engineering and management of works contracts.  A high level of competence in project management, and staff mentoring will be important to successfully fill this role.
