Remuneration: Salary range between $90,297 and $95,861 (dependent on experience) plus 13% superannuation

Reporting to the Manager - Planning Strategy and Major Projects, this new, innovative, creative and fast-paced Senior role will see the successful applicant manage an exciting program of international-class strategic planning, urban design, and streetscape revitalisation projects in the growing Gympie region.  You will be primarily responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of major strategic projects by;

• Leading and coordinating the preparation and implementation of the program of projects;
• Delivering effective community engagement processes to inform major strategic project development;
• Ensuring the delivery of the program of projects is consistent with the endorsed design intent and vision; and
• Coordinating the development of designs using internal resources.

This role will contribute to the or-ordination of a program of projects including;

• the Upper Mary Street Revitalisation project,
• Our Towns regional projects (set to revitalise the urban streetscape of Gympie’s beautiful coastal region) and
• the competition-grade Youth Precinct and Recreational Hub (skate park) for young people.  
• Other major strategic planning studies.
