The organisation and role

GWMWater is a dynamic regionally based water business operating in Western Victoria and headquartered in Horsham. As a vertically integrated water business operating in the driest part of the state, it is strongly connected to the community it serves. To meet the unique challenges GWMWater has in its operations it is strongly committed to the application of technology to effectively and efficiently meet its service obligations.  

The Executive Manager Customer and Employee Experience is responsible for the following business functions;

  • Corporate communications and marketing
  • Stakeholder and Customer consultation
  • Human Resource Management
  • Industrial Relations
  • Staff Well Being and Diversity
  • Call Centre Operations
  • Energy and Water Industry Ombudsman (EWOV) contacts and case management

Reporting to the Managing Director, this position leads the teams of People, Talent and Culture, Communications and Engagement and the Customer Contact Call Centre.

About You

A quality employee and customer experience are essential to the sustainable success of GWM Water, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven success in these areas.

You will bring relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in Water or related service based regulatory industry, with a strong record of team development and leadership. You will be able to demonstrate your successful project management delivery, along with strong change management. Given the environment that GWM works in, highly developed computer and technology literacy is essential.

Ideally, you will bring success in developing effective long-term consultation and customer engagement strategies, including communications and marketing, as well as enhancement of business effectiveness through the integration of culture, people and systems.
