Senior Engineer – Assets and Planning

The position has primary stewardship for the whole of life management of headworks assets, water distribution assets and water storages, to meet service obligations and statutory requirements for dam safety and asset management.

The position responsibilities include:

• Development and implementation of Dam Safety programs in compliance with GWMWater Statement of Obligations.
• Development and implementation of policies, standards and procedures, operational and maintenance manuals, quality assurance documents and competitive tendering documents.
• Initiate, investigate and plan options to address headworks, water storage and distribution infrastructure issues.
• Provide and procure expert engineering advice relating to operational, maintenance and construction aspects of dams, reservoirs and water distribution management.
• Plan other engineering projects as the need arises.
